Varsity Variable Font

Varsity is one of my most significant projects from 2018. What began as an exploration of the classic American university typeface aesthetic evolved into a versatile variable font with multiple axes, offering endless possibilities and a wide range of styles.

Varsity’s design space includes variations in weight, width, slant, and contrast, resulting in a total of 24 unique instances. The font features geometric shapes, rounded curves, and a rational structure. To showcase its many design possibilities, I created a series of visual specimens that highlight the versatility of this typeface.
